06 - Process Integration Across the Extended Enterprise

Presenter

Andrew Farncombe, John Boardman Associates Limited

Introduction

Much process improvement work focuses on intra-enterprise activity - and this is fine. However, the role of the extended enterprise (i.e. the intelligently formed and improved supply chain) has become increasingly recognised as a determinant of critical success factors such as product quality, time to market, cost and so on. This half-day tutorial will look at the issues involved in aligning, improving and measuring the efficacy of processes across the extended enterprise.

Course Objectives

To give attendees an overview of inter-enterprise process integration and some methods and tools that can provide assistance.

Target Audience

Senior personnel empowered to shape and evolve their organisations.
