Its often been said that there are three types of people:
If you would like to be among people that make things happen in systems engineering, consider joining an INCOSE Working Group or Interest Group and actively participating in its activities. INCOSE Working Groups and Interest Groups generate products that receive wide distribution and use whithin the systems engineering community. By participating, you are afforded the opportunity to contribute to and influence these products. Members of Working Groups and Interest Groups also carry on lively debates on various issues fo current interest in systems engineering - you gain the valuable opportunity of being able to exchange ideas with systems engineers outside you normal work environment. Additionally, participating in a Working Group or Interest Group gives you a chance to network with other "movers" in the systems engineering community and become part of a dynamic team environment.
Within INCOSE, there is a Working Group or Interest Group that addresses nearly every pertinent subject in systems engineering today. Examine the list of Working Groups and Interest Groups for the Group that is of most interest to you. Drop by their scheduled meetings during the 1999 INCOSE Symposium and begin participating, so that you, too, can " make things happen ".
Meetings were arranged for most of the following Working and Interest Groups during:
Monday, 7 June, 09:00 17:00 and Thursday, 10 June 08:30 10:00 .
