Communications & Membership Committee

Within the chapter's overall organisation, this committee deals with the promotion ofmembership, and the development of communications to meet the needs of INCOSE members. Ourmain aim is to be reactive to the requirements of members within the context of INCOSE'soverall objectives.

In practical terms, we publish the Newsletter - the editor Dr.Guy Tugwell - is acommittee member, develop and implement long term strategies for growth and improvedservices to members and work with the Development and PracticesCommittee to publicise INCOSE events.

The Committee has prepared and issues long term policy statements on membership growthand relations with the mainline institutions. It is presently considering proposals forcorporate membership which will be put forward for membership comment and Board approvalprior to any implementation.

The committee now meets on an as required basis. There is a chairman appointed for atwo year period of office, and a voluntary secretary. There are 5-8 active committee members . Individual initiatives are encouragedon the basis that one volunteer is worth a dozen pressed persons, so any member wishing toget involved, please contact the Chairman - Dr. GuyTugwell .
