Attendance. Anyone is welcome to attend the event, provided that they are either a current member of INCOSE or they join at the time of booking. The INCOSE membership runs from June 1st to May 31st each year. To join now until the end of May 2005 please circle the appropriate box .
Accommodation . INCOSE prices do not include accommodation. The Marriott Hotel is holding some rooms for INCOSE delegates at the rate of £110, B&B per night. If you require accommodation please book early and mention INCOSE. Phone . These rooms will go on a first come basis. If booking from a large company you may find that you have advantageous corporate rates.
Conference Venue: The conference is being held in the Swindon Marriott Hotel which is pleasantly situated amidst mature wood lands just to the south of Swindon town centre. It is close to Junction 15 of the M4 motorway giving easy access from London and the West. The hotel boasts a cosmopolitan restaurant offering Mediterranean style cuisine and a casual Café Bar featuring European food. The leisure club includes heated swimming pool, spa bath, sauna, steam room, gym, health and beauty studio and more.
Interesting things to see in the area include the Cotswolds, GWR Designer outlet village, Steam museum, Bowood House, and Longleat.
Nearest major airport is Bristol.
The STEAM museum is between 2 and 3 miles away near the main line station.
Booking: Please use the Registration form within and available on the website to book the conference and dinner. Please submit your booking form to Support Shop ASAP. INCOSE rates do not include accommodation.
Prices : Attendance at the conference for one day is £175 and for both days £300. We have an especially advantageous rate for students permitting them to attend for two days for the price of one at £100. The conference dinner on the Monday evening which is also the Tenth Anniversary of INCOSE UK is £34.04 including wine with the meal (no concessions). It is being held in the STEAM museum in Swindon. All prices are subject to VAT. Please see the table on the registration form .
Membership : Members who have not renewed for this year please pay £60 to renew. Membership rate for new members is shown on the booking form. Membership dues are not subject to VAT .
Method of payment : Payment is to be made in UK pounds in full without any deductions. Crossed cheques should be made payable to INCOSE UK and sent with the registration form. If using a company cheque please ensure that the delegate name is written on the reverse. Alternatively payment may be made by bank transfer payable to Lloyds TSB, 48 Belle Vue Terrace, Malvern, Worcs, WR14 4QG Sort Code 30 95 41 Account number 067 9247. Invoices and receipts will be issued if required. We are unable to accept payment by credit card.
Meals / Refreshments : The prices include lunch, tea and coffee & biscuits during the period the conference is running. The Tenth Anniversary dinner is available on the Monday evening with advance booking and payment of the separate fee. To obtain dinner on the Sunday evening please book direct with the hotel.
Cancellations and Substitutions : All bookings are subject to a cancellation fee of 50 % of the attendance fee if cancelled within one week of the event. Cancellations must be received in writing. Delegate changes / substitutions within the same company or organisation will be permitted without penalty provided that INCOSE receives the information in writing before the event. In the case of non-attendance of a registered delegate without prior notice in writing the full fee will be payable.
Programme Changes : While INCOSE will make every effort to provide the programme as advertised it may become necessary, for reasons beyond our control, to make changes to speakers and or to the timing and content of the programme. INCOSE will not be liable for any costs incurred in relation to such changes.
Proceedings : Sessions will be introduced from the platform and debated between the panelists and the audience. Proceedings of the event will not be issued but reports and copies of some presentations may be published on the INCOSE UK web- site. An event handbook containing directions and latest programme will be issued to all those that are registered by 1st November. Delegates registering after 1st November may not be on the attendance list.
